Fortune Lindy Manganyi is a Research Technician at the Agricultural Research Council (ARC), specializing in Range and Forage Sciences. Fortune earned a BSc in Agriculture (Pasture Science) from the University of Limpopo in 2014. She also completed her Grade 12 at Nyanisi Secondary School in 2010 and received computer literacy training from Avuxeni Computer Academy in 2018.

Experience 💼

Fortune has accumulated extensive experience in agricultural research and development. She has served as a Research Technician at ARC since December 2019, where she manages field trials, cultivar evaluations, and forage production activities. Previously, she interned at the Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and worked as an Agricultural Advisor for the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.

Research Interests 🔍

Her research interests include sustainable forage production, alternative uses of indigenous plants for livestock feed, and the ecological impacts of woody plant encroachment in grazing lands.
